June 19, 2004

Tim Arienti

Fish #69, "Dick" returned to the Saco River on June 3, 2004.  Since then he has given us a lot of interesting data to look at.  Dick likes to hang around the mouth of the river a lot, as you can see from the large number of hits on buoy #2.  He also likes to move up the river during the night or early morning.  Many times he has moved up into the river, past buoys #3 and #4 and back out to #2 again.  So far, most of his movement has been during the night, and he doesn't like staying in the river during the day.  We hope to deploy more hydrophones in the future to find out where "Dick" is going during the day.
