This weeks activities included finding and purchasing waterproof housings for receivers, batteries, locks, surgical and other supplies. We outfitted in the marine center wet laboratory an area to hold fish in place for surgery and placed orders for anchors, chain, and other equipment. We set up large flow-thru seawater holding tanks in the marine science center to hold fish subsequent to surgery and prior to release. We also look for sites to mount antennae on the roof of the marine center.
