Hydrophone equipment arrived from Lotek. We assembled several moorings (buoys and anchors), powered and tested associated hydrophones. We took moorings out on our Carolina Skiff and dropped them overboard after carefully measuring depth in the area along an underwater slope. It took several tries to find just the right spot where the hydrophone would remain in the water column at both mean high and low tide. We installed antennas; power and communication wire to the roof of the marine science center and tested the receivers.
